A Girl with Her DogPawsitive Pets has been offering quality dog walking and pet care services in the Old Town Alexandria area since 1999. We began as a small service providing vacation care to pet owners. We offer daily dog walks, and day care and boarding in a home environment. I now have a small staff of 4 well-qualified and pet loving assistants who help primarily with the dog walks and vacation care. Our focus is to provide highly personalized care to both pets and their owners.

We have gained a very loyal client base through our loving care of our clients’ pets. Whether you need dog walking or pet boarding, Pawsitive Pets has the ability to provide you with a fantastic solution to meet your specific pet needs.

Our Specialties

Two Dogs Playing and RunningWe provide a wide range of pet care services in Old Town Alexandria and nearby areas, including Del Ray, Beverly Hills, Belle View and Belle Haven. We may offer our services in other areas by request.

Our services for dogs include daily walks, daycare, and boarding. We offer vacation care at your home for all household pets, including cats, birds and dogs. We can come to your home 1 to 3 times per day.

We prefer to work closely with all of our clients and their pets to provide a pleasant and personal service. Each of our four staff helpers are attentive and responsible. They treat the pets they care for as if they were their own. Incidentally, many of our helpers began as former clients.
